You do not need a studio. A window, a white sheet of paper or fabric and your phone are enough to make photos that look great in a video ad.

The 10-minute setup

  1. Light: place a table next to a window with soft daylight. Avoid direct sun; on bright days hang a thin white curtain.
  2. Background: tape a large sheet of white paper so it curves from the wall down onto the table (an “infinity curve”). No visible edge means a cleaner cut-out.
  3. Fill: hold a white card or a sheet of foil-free cardboard on the side opposite the window to soften shadows.
  4. Phone: wipe the lens, turn off the flash, tap the product to focus and lower the exposure slightly so white stays white without glare.

Shots to take for each product

  • Front, straight on, product centred with space around it.
  • A three-quarter angle that shows depth.
  • A close-up of the detail that makes it special (texture, label, stitching).
  • In use or worn — great as a second photo in Drop Day or Collection.

Why plain backgrounds matter

Viral Ads Maker detects white or plain backgrounds and removes them automatically, so your product floats on the template’s colours. Leave a little space between the product and the frame edge, and avoid white products on white backgrounds — use a light grey or coloured sheet for those, then adjust the “Strength” slider.

Already have transparent PNGs?

Use them directly — transparency is kept as-is and gives the cleanest result.
