Selling on Instagram and WhatsApp in Lebanon: a video-ad playbook

A practical weekly routine for Lebanese online shops: Reels, Stories, Arabic and English captions, clear prices and fast replies.

Many shops in Lebanon sell mainly through Instagram and WhatsApp. Short vertical videos are the easiest way to stand out in both — and you can make them from the product photos you already have.

1. Post Reels on a simple rhythm

Three short ads a week is a realistic routine: one new product, one best seller and one offer or collection. Consistency matters more than perfection.

2. Mix languages naturally

Write the hook in the language your customers use — Arabic, English or French. Viral Ads Maker supports Arabic text, so a line like «جديدنا وصل» works as well as “New in store”.

3. Be clear about price and delivery

Put the price in the video and the delivery details in the caption (areas, timing and cost). Fewer “how much?” messages means more time to close orders.

4. Reuse every video in Stories and WhatsApp Status

The same 9:16 file works as a Story and as a WhatsApp Status. Add a link sticker in Stories and your number in the caption.

5. Make ordering easy

Use a call to action that matches how you sell — “DM to order” or “Order on WhatsApp” — and reply quickly. Many customers expect to pay by Whish or on delivery; state the options you accept.

6. Learn from your numbers

Check which Reels get the most saves, shares and messages. Make more of what works: change the hook or the template, keep the product and price.
